Irun

Discover Irun

Irun is brimming with history and battles due to its position on the border with France, between the Bidasoa river and the massif formed by Peñas de Aya and is a place of extraordinary landscape and culture with all the resources necessary to enjoy sport, leisure, relaxation and gastronomy.

Today, the town is a major European hub and is known for its trade and because of Oiasso, the major archaeological discovery in Guipuzcoa, discovered at the end of the 20th century.
