Leisure guide
Our leisure guide contains different sections and starts with an introduction to the most relevant points of historical interest in the region’s three towns – for example the Abadía castle and domain in Hendaye, the walled old quarter of Hondarribia and the Oiasso Roman museum in Irun.
A whole section of the guide is given over to the region’s environment, explaining the different pathways and tracks which walkers and cyclists alike can enjoy around the Txingudi bay area and in the neighbouring hills and mountains.
Specific details are given of all the activities available in each of the three cities including cultural events, leisure infrastructures and sports and leisure activities - all of which are available to the people who come to visit us.
And finally, the guide finishes with a list of all the special interest events that are held during the year in the three cities that make up the Bidasoa-Txingudi Cross-Border Consortium: Irun, Hondarribia and Hendaye.
