The Vuelta al Bidasoa is an amateur cycling race by stages that has been held annually since 1983 in the Bidasoa area (Hondarribia-Irun) during the spring (April or May).
The route usually includes Mount Jaizkibel and the crossing of the French border to reach the neighbouring town of Hendaye. There are cyclists who, after winning this race, have gone on to become professionals.
