On the 4th February many towns around the Basque Country follow the tradition of taking to the streets to sing couplets in honour of Saint Ageda. In Irun, schools, choirs and groups of friends all come together in different spots around the city, garbed in traditional attire and holding a stick to mark time whilst singing.
