Where are we

Bidasoa-Txingudi bay is at the western tip of the Pyrenean mountains and, straddling two countries, links the Basque provinces of Gipuzkoa and Lapurdi. The bay is surrounded by the towns of Hendaye, Hondarribia and Irun, and behind the 3 towns are the mountains of Larun, Jaizkibel and Peñas de Aya. Rather than acting as something that separates them, the Bidasoa River has had the effect of linking socially and culturally the three towns.
